Brembo # 25239 Front rotors 200% a pair. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260865829351&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Hard to say no to this price need them or not.
And I scored a pair at that price. The part# is correct and the sellers rating is quite good so maybe I got lucky. 4 pairs left people.
I just bought a pair yesterday, as a matter of fact. I don't need them right now, but at that price, might was well put them away. I'll need them eventually.
Thanks for the heads-up Brad.... just ordered a pair as well. Don't need them any time soon, but I don't plan on selling the car so that's a SCREAMIN' deal for sure. 2 pairs left guys.... they won't last much longer Jedi
Guys, Before you all start getting your credit cards out, ask yourself a few questions. If Ferrari themselves can no longer buy these from Brembo, and the large aftermarket sellers of Brembo products (like the Tire Rack) tell you that they can no longer get Brembo rotors for a 328, how is it that all of a sudden there's a pile of them for sale? Better yet, why are they so cheap? They were never that cheap before, from legitimate suppliers. And, if this guy has the last remaining supply of these things in existence, don't you think he'd be asking more money for them? I mean, if he controls the world's supply... What comes to my mind is the word "counterfeit". Lots of fake parts are hitting the market lately, in nice new original-looking boxes. I suspect most are made in China, although who knows. Bosch fuel pumps, MSD ignition boxes, all sorts of things. In the interest of full disclosure, I do have a used set of 328 rotors for sale in the classifieds. That's not why I'm posting this. I just think you ought to be careful when you see something that is too good to be true. Have fun, Jeff
A 328 front rotor is 10mm larger in diameter and has a different offset to a 308 rotor. Different part numbers with Ferrari, with Brembo... JR
When mine come in, I'll take them to Carlo Durante of Alfa of Tacoma - he's been servicing Ferraris since the early 1960s. I'll get his opinion of them and report back. At this point I have no reason to doubt or impugn the seller - as someone posted above sometimes "stuff happens" - neither you nor I know the back story on how this guy ended up with so many so no reason to make him suspect just because YOU don't know the back story any more than I do. I'll let the thread know what Carlo says. The rotors should be here on Monday. Jedi
Mine just arrive at my office. Opened the package to check. They are definitely Brembos. And from the packaging -- original looking Brembo boxes -- they look like NOS. Can't go wrong for this price, that's for sure!! The surfaces are coated with a protective film (cosmoline?), so before installing them, be sure to clean them thoroughly!
?? Last time I asked Ferrari had stock in the main UK warehouse. AFAIK the only cars that use these parts are the 328 & Mondial. Demand would hardly seem to be high enough to warrant bothering to counterfeit them I think.
Yes and a friend of mine who owns a CarX place couldn't get them cheaper wholesale. Just search for the Brembo number as the rotors are not under Ferrari 328 section of the parts list. I've got all 4 waiting in my basement for when I need them.
A customer who recently purchased these from me off of ebay mentioned that there was a chat on this forum and some were debating whether or not our products were counterfeit or too good to be true. While i am certainly understanding of a deal being too good to be true, this is just simply not the case. If you look at any of the automobile related products we sell on ebay, we are well below anyone else's prices. We are wholesalers, we purchase in very large quantities and usually sell the same way. We realized that we might be missing out on the retail end of things and so we started to play around with ebay. As you can see from our feedback, we are no joke and we sell what we advertise...the real thing. Our current price for these rotors is $280/pair if purchased via ebay. the downside of ebay is the amount they take off of each sale. So in order to get a better deal, you can inquire with us via email at [email protected] or by phone 614 529 1300. Its very easy to just email us and we can send you a paypal invoice or you can pay by credit card. We stand behind our products 100% Image Unavailable, Please Login
