Does anyone know where I can get one for a 246 GT Dino? It appears to be the same for early 208 and 308 vehicles as well. This is the one-way check valve between the intake manifold and the vacuum assist unit at the master cylinder.

UK does not have, nor does GT car parts. Is there a similar unit for another car?

    Thanks.

Try a search for the above mentioned part or Durable-1. There have been a fair number of posts regarding the effectiveness of the valve.

Basically, the valve opening threshold is less than the stock valve, so it admits a greater amount of vacuum to the booster to help you push down the pedal.

It is not a huge improvement but it is worthwhile.

Chris - thanks for the response. My issue is not that it was not functioning correctly, as far as I could tell, but now that I have it out (during a complete restoration), I wish to replace it. When I blow through each end, it does not seem to have proper action (sealing or free-flow).

Do I read your post correctly that I should search on Durable-1 for the non-return valve? Is Durable-1 a web site, or a text string in a post on F-chat?

    Thanks.
