    Sometimes the brake warning light comes on when the car is at a very low idle. Possible cause?

    Just a SWAG but maybe low vacuum in the brake booster?

    Don't worry, it is the same with my 400i. After I had synchronised the two cylinder banks (vacuum is taken from the left side only and the additional vacuum pump) the situation was improved but not completely solved. The positive aspect is that even with the warning light on, you still have sufficient breaking assistance.
