355 Brakes ineffective after driving spiritedly

    There’s definitely a valve cover leak that isn’t too uncommon with these cars from what I understand. Im going to get the major done this fall so I’ll address that then. I thought the leak was originally the oil reservoir from not torquing the plug down enough after performing an oil change back in December.

    After getting back under the car, I confirmed the sump and reservoir plugs were both properly torqued. That coupled with the missing brake fluid, I’m guessing the puddle that I suspected to be oil is actually the missing brake fluid. I’ll inspect the line coupler this weekend and see if that’s the culprit.

    So I topped off the reservoir, went for a drive, and noticed the puddle forming in the same spot previously pictured. The corresponded with a reservoir level now registering between min and max. When I went back under the car I found moisture here on the brass block. It also looked like the large oil line but above had some moisture as well but I’m guessing the leak is coming from that junction in the line pictured
