I was out for a long drive yesterday in my cabriolet and about halfway home I went to hit the brakes and had a really hard pedal and luckily enough distance from the car ahead. I imediately thought of the brake booster but I am not sure. Has anyone experienced anything like this and have any ideas?

Yes I’m experiencing this same problem of not being able to stop the car even with hard pedal. I don’t have confidence with the car!! The answer can’t be go bed in brakes every time I take the car out . Terrible Porsche brakes are better at this point

A hard pedal usually indicates lack of vacuum assist to the booster; it can be a leaking vacuum line to the booster, or a failure of a check valve within the booster itself.
