Brand New Carbon Fiber Sport Seats!

Okay, in the course of my seemingly-never-ending race seat quest, I acquired a set of one piece REAL carbon race seats from Europe and had them covered in tan leather. Well, after that I got a set of period correct OMP seats and will end up using those instead so I am going to put these on the market. Here's what you need to know about these:

They were made by a supplier to a variety of well-known companies that we know and like. I had them upholstered in a tan leather from the Rolls-Royce supplier because their leather has a nicer feel to it and will hold up better than Ferrari leather. The cost was a little more than Ferrari leather but only by 15% or so. The prancing horse was embroidered in the head rests. Where they would add the white stitching, they just left blank so the tan shows through. It doesn't look all fat and weird like some of the aftermarket embroidered Cavallinos do.

They look a little wrinkly because they're brand new. I am supposed to put them out in the sun and use them to get broken in a little but they've just been in my basement for a short time.

They are very light. I will weigh them if I get the chance but if I had to guess, I would say they're about 15 lbs each. They mount with side brackets and sliders.

Here is the best part: what car are they for? I bought them for my 360 but it turns out that they will also work for the 348, 355, 360, F430, and probably some other cars, too. I have not measured the base but I have a suspicion that they might fit in a 308/328. They're not extra tall. They're a little smaller than the OMP 360 seats I have and right about the size of the 348 OMP seats. I am more than happy to take measurements. Just tell me the ones that you need.

Cost: They were wholesaled to me and I'm into them for a little over $4k. The first $4175 to me gets them. Trades are okay, too. I would be happy to hold onto them but at this point, I don't know if I'll have anything to put them in.

You would use side mount brackets with a slider.

 

These are not OEM Ferrari seats. They are from a supplier who makes carbon seats for various companies. I don't know what "tails" are but you can use universal side mount brackets and sliders compatible with the car you're going to put them in. You don't have to use sliders but I usually do. I usually get OMP or Sparco ones.

Some more information on these seats. They are very similar to the one piece 355 Challenge seats in size and shape. They are not quite as tall as the 360 Challenge seats (by probably 1" or so) so they can fit in a 348/355 height wise whereas the 360 seat would not. Also, the sides don't go nearly as high as on the 360 and on Challenge seats, making them great for a street car where you are always getting in and out. Again, let me know what measurements you need.

For everyone who doesn't like the color, a good upholsterer can change the color and you can save these seat covers. At this price for carbon seats, it's kind of worth taking the chance.

And remember, I'm okay with trades for stuff that I can use (watches, too).
