Would be an epic dream if Shuey came out of retirement to race Lewis for 2008. Now that would be great, but alas will never happen.
+1 one thing about Bernie is that he's the Don King of motorsports. He doesn't really care personally who wins, so long as it's the guy that stands to benefit him the most. I think Bernie's desire for the best financial outcome for him trumps any national-pride issues that would make him want Lewis to win, or any love for Alonso from being the guy that trumped Schuey, or any love for Kimi for being the golden boy of the most loved team. He just wants the $$$ to come in
Schuey was very smart. Despite not winning in 06, he quit while he was at the very top. Leaving everyone thinking "if he just stayed, he could have....." (anyone can finish that sentence as they like). A lot better than staying in until you're washed up and slow and people only can remember your glory days.
