A heroic effort and an outstanding career, truly the greatest driver ever.
F1 will never be the same again and I think we all wish the the same success with your rest of your life as you've had on the tracks.

I named our first born son 'Michael'....and we don't have anyone by that name in ouyr family as far back as I know.

Winners win...and Schumacher always races to win...first race, or last or any in between. He never did anything another driver didn't try, just maybe got caught at it a few times....all eyes are always on trying to crush the best, the winners, and the champions!

Thank you , Micheal....it'll be DVD replays of old races if we want to see you again.

    Could place 10th
    go back to 20th
finish in the top 6 cars!!

if his tire had not let go we could have seen him on the podium!!

A great "Drive" to the 'end' of his career.

Thanks for all the great times Michael

You will be missed by many people.

And enquiring minds have to know...

Just where are you going to park that F1 car that Ferrari is giving you?
If you don't have room at your place I have LOTS of room and you can visit the car as opften as you wish!!!

He went out in such a style today. It would've been great to see him at least on the podium, but it was just a bad luck.

Thanks, Michael, for giving us such a pleasure and for what you've done to and with Ferrari. :)

Fantastic race, Michael was the fastest on the track, just didn't have enough time to catch up. Brilliant passes ok Kimi and Fisi, the man goes out in top form! No one else could have done a better job of clawing back from 17 to 4!!!

Indeed, thanks Michael for the Ferrari years in particular. Just sit back and reflect for a moment how the Prancing Horse had dulled in F1 until Michael came onboard, and where would they be if he hadn't?

Michael, if your out there, if you follow this stuff, thank you. If not, perhaps someone can pass this along. I have feared for your life, but the fear is over. You brought the girl home. You are also a Comendatore in my book. While I fell in love with Ferrari all over again these last 10 years, we have had you as our beacon showing us true sportsmanship most of the way, good times and bad. Today you proved your mettle today more than any other time. Hats off to you, my friend. Thank you. Thank you. May you enjoy your years with your family and live peacably. I wish you all the best.

Massa, Kimi, the best of luck next year, I look forward to watching you compete.

And to everyone at Ferrari, thank you. Thank you one and all. You proved again that its not a matter if you win or lose, its how you play the game. Well done. I am so proud to have one of your cars in my garage today. (just dont raise parts prices, okay?) Thank you. Forza!!!

    You said it...

Awesome qualifying, hurt by some engine issues, resulting in 10th position...
Then, a charge to 5th before a tire puncture, putting him in last!
Then, a run all the way up to 4th!

Amazing, from down +72 seconds charging up to +24 seconds...

so many things went against him yet he still got close to podium, less than 5.5 seconds behind Button... give him a few more laps, and he might have been on the podium...

He showed today that he still has the skill and determination. I hate to see him leave. It hasn't fully hit me yet, but I feel that's because he didn't have a "formal" goodbye (i.e. post-race interview). I at least wanted him to say his last words in front of all the viewers instead of him just parking his car and being done.

BMW took the words out of my mouth.
