I don't want to discuss the history and politics of this season. I'd rather forget it all. But I do want to express my immense joy, anticipation and excitement at the upcoming Brazilian GP. Say what you want about scripted events and unfair regulations, but I do like the fact that 3 drivers take it to the very last race of the season. I have cancelled all plans for the weekend, I will disconnect the phone and lock the door. Saturday we'll go for dinner at a Brazilian restaurant and for Sunday the Champagne will be on ice. My favourite outcome would be Kimi, which would be sensational, but if one of the McLaren drivers gets it, that'll be fine too. Hamilton as the rookie kid and FA as a 3 times world champion, a rare accomplishment by itself as well. Samba en Brazil! PS: The only sad thing will be the mere thought that thereafter I'll go in sports hibernation until March. <sigh>
No, I'll be watching it at home. Live on TV (as opposed to the Asia races, which I taped). But we got some nice Brazilian restaurants in town. Quite costly, but here is a good occasion to get into the mood.
nice... the race will be around 0045 or 0100 hours here, and its on a monday morning, working day. anyhow, i'll make sure i won't miss it.
Don't miss it. Regardless of the outcome, you'll be watching F1 history in the making. Any of the three scenarios will be a sensation.

I would bet that this will be the most watched F1 race this season and end up in the top 10 Sports TV events of the entire world this year.
I'am sure this will be the case.. I know alot of people who couldn't care less about F1 have watching it of late, LH is the factor in this though. Fair weather fan's Argghhhhhhhhhh.
Yes I know of a few and one of them is pig sick I drive a Ferrari as you may know I'am a newbie in the red fan club. But not the biggest MS fan..sorry Brian..
Bernie or Max just might whip out their cocks to try and show how big (bit actually how little) they really are
Sure will. Wardrobe malfunction: Hopefully a grid girl and not Flavio. Oh wait, this is Brazil: The malfunctions will happen in the grandstands. Carnival!
Andreas of topic a min but is that your real name? tell me to mind my own if you like.. but I find it strange calling you a place name if you no what I mean.. I seem to recall you saying it's where you live..
Super Bowl ? I'd think if you were driving in F1, the Super Bowl of F1 would be either Monaco, or Italy. Don't get me wrong - Brazil would be an awesome race to win, with the rabid fans and all, I guess I have never thought of it as a 'Super Bowl' of F1. Granted: Monaco isn't much of a 'race', but neither is Daytona, with it's silly-ass restrictor plates, but it's still the Super Bowl of stock car racing.
Not Interlagos is the super bowl, but the fact that in the final race of the season 3 drivers have a shot at the title. Just happens to be Brazil this year. Other than that you are right: Monaco is the Super Bowl of F1. The single most important race in the season. By some considered as equally important as winning the title.
I am so excited for this coming race I can barely wait for it. Usually Brazil is the winding down point, its the final good bye of the season...but not this time! It's the finale! It's what the last race of the season should be but has never been since I have started watching F1 religiously. I am so happy the last race of the season is more than a formality this year. Whoever wins, this has been the most exciting season I have watched (using the definition of exciting you stated earlier as "unpredictable"). I don't know what yet, but I am going to be making one hell of a Sunday meal for this race. Super Bowl?...no this is better, the action on the track is going to be the highlight of the event rather than the commercials. Mark
Holy crap this race is going to be wicked! I've been looking at various F1 news sites constantly over the past few days for anything new on theis race. Only let down is that us lucky folk in New Zealand get to wake at 5am! (although ill be up at 4am to get myself amped up and watch the preshow streamed over the net ) GOOOOO KIMI!
Should be a fun weekend and I should get to watch the race live since it's in Brazil. I'll be happy to see the season over no matter who wins so we can get started with next season.
Brazil is the Super Bowl in that a champion will br crowned at the race. However Monaco must certainly be considered the marquee event of the F1 calendar. Other than their home GP, most F1 drivers would say that this is the race they most want to win.
