Im not getting any power to my hottub and I dont know if I can live without it for more than 24 hours..hottub keeps me sane.

The power to the tub comes from the breaker box pictured below which in turn gets its power from the main breaker box. Ive never had any issues before so Im sure its just a fuse or something that *I* can replace and save some coin on an electrician.

The only clue I can give is that when I press the RED reset button in the pictured breaker box I get a clicking and it wont reengage (I have in the past had to press this button but it always reengaged). I have also tried to simply flip the breaker on the bottom left but that didnt help.

So how do I figure out whats wrong or do I just take that breaker out and get a replacement ?

    Thanks in advance

The GFCi could be tits up. The line could be getting wet somewhere which is what the GFCi protects against (and why its there). You could have short in the tub motor, a loose neutral in the service panel...many things.

As a builder and remodeler, electricity and the safe/proper use of it is priceless...spend the $ to get a professional. There is no reason to cut corners here or try to find a quick fix...you'll be happier in te end.

    Good luck

Alright you guys win...will call electrician tomorrrow... I was hoping it might be something really simple like replacing the breaker.

I have no intention of digging around an electrical box.

    Thanks !

My guess is someone dug in the ground near the power wire and cut it. Have you had a lot of rain in the last couple of days? That is a sure sign there is a nick in the power line somewhere. Call a PRO. 220V will KILL you. (stop your heart)

    I've built since late '70's.
The above is good, sensible advice.
Call a pro, you probably won't be out more than $175.
