Darell, are the port holes on your pinto/gt40 water proof? Just in case it rains..... another question did come up though, how can you get the brown back special into your port hole? And where do they "hang" the car trays on it? Will see you guys there.

 

Biedermans at 801 Main Street. It is right on the southwest corner with a green awning.
Their breakfast food is fantastic! A Cowley 20 drive will certainly be in order.
This will be a good run-up for the drive to Deons next weekend for breakfast.

Good Choice!! That place was good!! I'll be there, They've got plenty of good parking for your Pinto Darell, and you don't have to worry about crowds around it because they're use to seeing Brian's Pinto and Gremlin runnin around town so they're use to those types of autos around..

What time and route are you Wichita drivers taking to Winfield? My location is Mulvane (K-15 and Rock Road) .

 

Almost! That was the car I dinked around enough with the color, Brian knows...., that I ended up not getting it. Jet stream blue right? No not mine, still on list but I guess good things come to those who wait. Apparently the 2010 model will come with "launch control" and in white.

 

Now white with dark grey or even flat-black wheels would be awesome.....and no mufflers

Regarding the mileage restrictions....I am positive manufactures will still produce cars that get far less than 39.5mpg, it all come down to the gas guzzler tax. This tax is sure to go up drastically. Demand for these cars will still be there, we will just have to pay more.

I'm still breaking in the engine (I know, after not having it for 8 months, I should have put 1000 miles on it the first weekend...), but it's doing great (knock on wood)!!

 

Thats exactly what I was thinking... white with competition grey wheels. BTW, still in the hunt for an italian... I've got a few leads, we'll see where they end up.

 

I know... if its meant to be, its meant to be..... I do need to get into gear before the wife figures something else to spend it on!

 

Looks like we will have some new faces on Saturday. Bob Tyler is going to try and make it as well as my neighbor that has an awesome 60's Corvette.
The restaurant is right next to Bob's car collection building so hopefully we can talk him into a tour....he has some absolutely fantastic cars.

I'll plan to be there at 8:15 Saturday morning. I'm hoping that a friend with a C6 ZO6 will also be able to make it.

[Side Note- The weekly Friday night show at the southest corner of Central and West Streets has been getting good crowds. You guys should try to make it sometime! I plan to be there tonight.]
