I know I should be posting this on Porsche Forum, but since I am always on this forum, I trust my fellow Ferrari chat members more than anyone else. I have my 997 turbo, already have 300 miles in less than a week. How should break in the motor? I have ran it up a couple of time to full boost, but otherwise I keep it below 4500 rpms. Would appreciate your feedback.

I was told that the occasional brief spurt at higher revs is a better way to break in any new motor than never breaching the 4500rpm for n months.
