    I would not consider it a "collectible"... but, it's a nice watch.

    As far as collectible I meant low production numbers... I doubt any modern Breitling would be collectible...

    Well it says "Special Series" and has a SN of 4xx without a final number. Though I seem to recall it was a ltd. ed. 1000..... That might seem like a special watch but I have a x/100 and an x/25 so 1000 seems like a lot. I've not seen these Eclipes command any higher prices.

    Thanks; what do you think is a fair price for one in mint/ as new condition black face and strap with all boxes and paperwork?

    .20 -.30 on the dollar. FWIW, I have a "So called" limited edition Blackbird too but I wouldn't sell it.
