I finally got the Brembo GTR BIG Brake kit fitted on the 360 today...Boy ,what a difference in the looks and over all braking department...The car was also corner balanced , aligned and ride height adjusted to C.S. specs. ... My question is now that the brakes are on, the pedal has a longer softer feel too it... I am use to a firm hard pedal....The shop who did the install said that they bleed the brakes twice.... I have searched and found that some have suggested a brake proportioning valve for the fronts along w/ a pad change from the kit...I love this kit,but I think that I still have my work cut out for me...Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks..

Please post pictures. Did you get the kit brand new?

If you switch to Castrol SRF (one of the best brake fluids), you will get a firmer pedal. I use SRF in all my cars, including my daily drivers.

If your pads are new, get them bedded in, it will help to firm up the brake pedal.

The Brembo GTR is one of the best braking systems, it is a lot better than any factory street legal car system offered. It is the system used by Ferrari in the FIA and ACO races, and it is used by Porsche in the GT3 RSR as well.

First ensure they have also bled the master cylinder using the two bleed screws located on the master. It is very easy to get even the smallest bubble in the master and it will not bleed out through the system. Usually just cracking the screw will let out the bubble and all will be well. Otherwise I suspect the larger calipers are causing to much pedal travel due to the change in volume required. To correct this would require a larger master cyl bore which would increas fluid volume for the given pedal travel. We have installed several of these kits on both the 360 and the 430 and have not run into this concern.
    Good luck

Windsock - You hit the nail on the head!!!!!!!! I went to the garage and bled the two screws on the master cylinders and the pedal immediately came back. Took the car on a drive and bled it two more times..What a difference...Thanks for the direction...

Anthony- I did have my shop call Brembo and they also felt that it must have been air in the system...Brembo explained that they engineered this kit to be compatible with the oem master cylinder and complete brake system... It was explained that the new kit even with the larger calipers was designed so that the amount of fluid that was being pushed to the pistons was equal to or even less that with the stock set up...I can tell you with this kit now properly bled that the pedal feel is even better than stock..FIRM and Hard..Perfectly set up for easy heal and toe...

F 430 GT- This was a brand new factory GTR kit from Brembo...I too have also used Castrol SFR in my race cars...Good Stuff...Coming from a Porsche Background it is nice to know that the same company is making the brakes for these cars in competition and street applications...I know that BREMBO is the company that you want designing your brakes!!!!

Thanks all...I will post pics soon...

i have it on mine and feel it performs a little less than the factory CCBs and it makes the most brake dusts ever!! plus high screeching noise when warm.
If u find a dust free pad for these steel brakes please let me know. Because the factory CCBs create a lot less brake dust than this.

Brilliant !!! I will try that. Most wheels are painted and have a clear coat, same as metal body panels, it might work.

KT- Those brakes look really nice and make the car look way more aggressive..

F4- Thanks for the tip on the wheel protectant. I use P21S so it has not been much of a problem, but this allows you to attack it from both ends. Nice thing about FChat is learning all that stuff without having to do all the hunting for it.

.... if this stuff really works, I'd be one happy camper. My MINI makes an insane amount of dust. Anyone try it yet with 1st hand observations?
