My friend Mike will be driving his CanAm McLaren and his IndyLights car. Sadly I won't have time to cheer him on.

That sucks! I forgot to even ask you ahead of time if you would be going. We have been working 7days a week! Which is as Martha Stewart would say, "A good thing"
Its odd I didn't even see your car, as there was a very strong LACK of Ferrari's there! No 512 Can-Am no 512BBLM...only a lonely 312. To be honest, without the Speed 8 and R8, I would have been a tad disappointed this year...

Well, its taken many years and lots of equipment to get to where we are. Most pics were taken with the 400mm f/2.8 and 1dmkiiN. So if you remember seeing a "huskey" youngster with a big white lens, it was probably me. ha

PS. we were doing the McKee gathering for Road America. Something like 18 of 23 McKee's showed up....

 

I hope to be taking either the lambo or the ferrari (which ever one gets back from the shop) to the NASA open-track event. Did their Autobahn day a week ago. An absolute blast. It's too bad that so few exotic guys seem to be into tracking their cars at events like these.

This is the first year in awhile I could not go...

I met the guy with the JPS F1 car a few years ago, first at the track then back at the American Club. Nice guy... he bought the car from his best friends estate (he died, guys wife wanted his friend to have it). Current owners friend bought it (supposedly) directly from Colin Chapmans widow!

 

I will probably be going up for the VSCDA weekend as well, haven't yet decided on whether "Ruby" or the bike will go. Are you going up for that one Sir Kipenstein?

 

Nope, afraid we will be doing some motorcycle races that weekend at BHFs

 

I have a BFH, I use it for fine tuning, calibration and an occasional attitude adjustment.

 

haha you have to have a BFH! Its the perfect tool to use with duct tape....(shifty eyes)
