Brian Willis...

So i had the pleasure of meeting Brian Willis last Saturday... We met about halfway from where we both live; a TGI Friday's... i left my car there and we went cruising in Brian's 360 F1...

Beautiful car.

Anyway, Brian knows the hot spots here in Atlanta, so we go to one place but their live music was cancelled for the evening... So on to another place that would actually have live music...

Before we got there, though, Brian detoured down "the path not taken"; a road uninhabited by buildings, apartments or parked cars... That's when i got a true taste of F1-styled acceleration and Brembo friction...

WOW...! What a rush... The road curves and sorta banks, so as we're goin' around it, you sorta lean and Brian was hauling ass... Then, just like that, the road stops.

...and so does the car. The brakes on these things are really amazing. We were at a complete stop before i even realized that there was no more road. Very cool stuff...

After dinner, Brian catered to some of the patrons with a burn-out in the parking lot. Amazing how the car moves so quickly and can stop just as quickly. It was a really good taste of just how well the car performs in stop and go situations.

But what really impressed me was not Brian's gorgeous 360 or his trophy-material Testarossa, it's his exquisite taste... We went back to Brian's place to check out the TR and Brian gave me a tour of his abode; his model collection, to say the least, would impress anyone... Sure he may not have thousands of models like some of the famous collectors whose collections have been posted here, but the quality of his collection was astounding; each time we went into a different room, there was more models, too... A myriad of tasteful auto-related art decorated the walls... Brian also has an impressive mineral collection... All very tastefully displayed...

Brian, it was a real pleasure meeting you and i look forward to hooking up with you in the future at either events or just to grab a bite to eat and watch pugilists duke it out on the idiot box...
