Apologies if this is already discussed elsewhere. Now that a monument to F1 history has taken down of its pedestal the hyenas are out to take their bites: Alesi and his manager are calling Flavio a "mafioso": Apparently his boss at a genereal contractor company was killed by a car bomb and Flavio benefitted from that by getting all the contracts. Years later a bomb detonated in front of his house. Then the Italian General Prosecutor was after him for organizing an illegal gambling ring and allegedly sentenced him to 4 years in prison, which he avoided by fleeing to the Virgin Islands. And that was all before his time in F1. What's next? Stories that Bernie was involved in the great British train robbery?
The figures in F1 are really crazy. I wonder what comes next. Something really bizarre would have to happen to surprise me after that story, like the boss of them all turning out to secretly play weird games with Naz....wait... never mind...
Yes hardly surpising really with Flav, and in good company with Mosley, that's till Flav set up camp with FOTA.
I read an article that listed Mad Max' enemies whom he wanted to take care of before leaving office: Dennis, Flabbio, Theissen and the boss of Toyota So far he got 3 out of 4 and #4's throne is shaky.
Well, not too surprising but one does need to take these strories with a pinch of salt in my opinion.
Jean Alesi...I think I recall that name...hmmm... Races 202 (201 starts) Championships 0 Wins 1 No doubt, another one of Flavio's victims.
Sour grapes. What strikes my is why would Alessi after all these years trash Briatore like that. Sure Briatore was a very successful team manager but the thing is that very few people have good things to say about him now. He made a habit of alienating people, including a number of drivers he represented as manager. Karma always gets you in the end.
Now THAT is funny Everytime I think about that I have to laugh in disgust. It is hard to imagine that any and I mean ANY person would survive such a scandal. How did he manage that?
just always been with the wrong team at the wrong time. Undoubtedly one of the nicest guys in pitlane.
No one should cry for Flavio. Here's his latest squeeze who's expecting his baby. Ah yes, money and power do make a difference! It's good to be the king...Or at least, former king. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The real thuth, sad but real is that, The FIA knew from last year that it was a set up. Piquet Senior informed the FIA last year and what happen ? Nothings = All of them are in the same circus and Mosley the president didn t want to stop the championnship because of all the problems, money, sponsors involve. Everybody his turn, you win, I win, and all the directors are happy. I don t watch anymore, F1 is like catch. Schamacker lie, Briatore Lie, Hamilton lie, BMW lie, Ferrari lie ...what else. Some people have bet money on a fake result ? Championship winner is not Hamilton, it s Massa..etc..etc... I stop wasting my time with thses crooks
For you to implement that Flavio, profited from, and possibly arranged, someones death is really taking it to the next level. Let's keep it in perspective. Unless you have access to some pretty serious documents, I can only assume the interest in Flavs past, is all brought on by some disgruntled employee, Piquet Jr. If it wasn't for his winy little girl attitude, F1 would be heading to the next GP without the big scar across it's cheek.
I hope he has a lot of savings, when that woman will go with half his money and child support, in (i predict 2/3 years).
I'm sure with Flav gone, the FIA has weeded out all the "Bad eggs " in F1. LOL ! He was just the one dumb enough to get caught. This is BIG BUSSINESS, it will bring out every slippery reptile you can think of...
