    LONDON, May 14 (Reuters) - Formula One world championship leader Jenson Button will take part in the London Triathlon for charity, the Brawn GP driver's spokesperson said on Thursday.

    Button will run for the 'Make a Wish Foundation' in the Aug. 1 event, which has 11,000 competitors and features a 1,500 metre swim, a 40 kms bike ride and a 10 kms run.

    "It's the biggest triathlon in the world so I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart," Button said on his fundraising page (www.justgiving.com/jensonbutton).

    I hope he does really well - This is top line competition with world class athletes - Maybe he can lay the "racing drivers aren't fit" myth to rest once and for all.....

    Lewis backed out of the man-challenge last year. I doubt he is any fitter now.
