....as the old blues guy says, I guess you have to know when to go. So all my Ferraris, Ferrari clothes, Ferrari models, Ferrari artwork, old ignition coils, burned fan belts, helmets and karts have a new home. Not sure what to make of it all, but just wanted ya'll to know, if I am not around for awhile. "Put the palm trees out on the balcony, don't block my view of the pool!" That box marked "Lamborghini" goes to Scott's house, and here's Amanda's 'Ferrari Barbie' collection, as well...... If anyone in Houston needs some ball caps or die cast models, just drop on by and help me.......
Hey now, You are part of the prestigious alumni club, no reason for you not to be around. I don't know what happened, but I wish you the best Tex.........
Sorry to hear about your problems, (insert whatever blues cliche seems appropriate here). Also sorry that I wasn't able to locate a new place for ya. But the dog house and the garage are always open! Dale
It was the Dog House she kicked me OUT of, Dr. Who......... *scratching fleas* *90# Bull terrier licking my face...she still loves me* Thanks for the kind words all. Good thing about being from Galveston.......all you really need is a palm tree and some beach sand to feel at home. Jean Lafitte had a place on 12th Street, and in Waveland, MS as well...I hear WQRZ-FM may be hiring...LOL! Let me get the grill fired up with some rib eyes, and the Booker's bottle up there on the 'fridge...and I'm HOME!
I got all new appliances...fresh carpet, a bay window........jogging trails along Buffalo Bayou.......a NICE bath tub........where's my foaming bubbles?
Ferrari Content: ....and shaded assigned Parking! Get outta town........we can watch F1 races in the Weight Room, overlooking the pool. Who's that hottie over there?
...with champagne and fresh strawberries........... Um, furniture first, might be a good idea..........cardboard is pretty depressing......LOL! Thanks, T.
Thankfully, the closet is huge! I have all my AJ Foyt teamwear, next the the Ferrari Lemans teamwear, next to the Ferrari F1 teamwear,............ With the Italian suits and the Scully western wear shirts at the end. Maybe Schumi will drop by sometime I could give him some styling suggestions..........
BigTex.....don't miss the chance .....all you need is a nice warm blanket, a couple of pillows and some easy music and you're all set.
Okay I guess I can finally attend a Houston fcar happy hour now. LOL Just kidding. Sorry for your circumstances but you have the passion like no other, I'm sure you will be back. Good luck.
I could use one of those jello shots about right now...(in her syringes)..... I think we have a date for Halloween, before we take off to see Roland in New Orleans. Big bash in Texas City on the 3rd though honoring the late Charles Brown.....anyone here remember him? He toured with Bonnie Raitt just before he passed away....I think I'm gonna need a helicopter to get all this done!
Man, I have six CASES of unopened 1:18 die cast cars here..... *looking in closet* Not counting the ones in the five bookcases........is there a 12 Step program for Ferraris? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry to hear about this BT. I wish I had some storage space to help you keep some stuff. Dont get rid of your car stuff man! Keep it for your kids - it will bring good memories.
I think it's gonna work out OK, as far as Memorabilia goes... I have the speedboat a new home, the sailboat as well......one Ferrari in to tune, one in for paint, one left to drive. The two racing karts and spare parts are the last large item......wings ....noses, little tires. Rats, I forgot I have three sets of spare 308GTB wheels and tires! *pushing dolly* I guess I'll have to find a gf that likes the smell of fresh Goodyears in the bedroom........LOL!
I actually told Management I was gonna hang the karts on the wall.....as long as I repair it later, they didn't care!
