there is one toll as we cross the Delaware River.
delware?? wait wait, can someone in the loop PM me some details? dont doubt greg's route plan skill, but not really into a long a$$ drive. it will be ideal if we drive some(high speed then some twists), then we eat drink shoot the ****, check out new rides in the group, relax a bit. sunday traffic back to NY is usually nuts. if i want to do long drive i would go to montreal
Delaware RIVER bridge. Not to forget, Jersey is thin....easy to get from one side to the other in short order.
It's MUCH closer than you think Chris. Everyone always thinks that PA (and the Delaware River) are so far from NYC. They aren't and especially so when you are at the narrowest part of NJ. Drive will be awesome and it won't be too long...it'll be just right. Trust us... ;-)
Should be between and hour to and hour and a half betweeen the time we leave the meeting spot until lunch. Then back...all depending on the pace of course. ;-)
so is the run like 100 miles from bruces to lunch then 100 miles back? mind you we have lupe's party that night and we will be exhausted!, any alternate route?
Rob, Greg has put a lot of time and effort into this gathering. It is all set and ready to roll and won't be an exhausting exercise due to mileage. Come to the run, enjoy yourselves and if you feel that we are going too far of a distance you can always bail. I can tell you that it's going to be a great run that won't be too far in time or distance. Greg also secured a lunch spot that can accomodate us all so I'm certain that all of his efforts in planning here will pay off. No need for an alternate route... I would imagine that we will be back in the NYC area by early afternoon (depending on how long we hang for lunch).
Man you guys are killin me. The run will take 1.5hrs in a yellow Z3. We'll head out of the meeting place @ 9:30 (hopefully). The restaurant opens @ 11am. Gives us plenty of time to park, snap some pix etc. I figure we can fill up and roll out by 1pm the latest. I'll have you girls back in Manhattan (or wherever) well before 3pm. mAn Up ZeN - wE'rE EC bAbY! PS - honestly, I think this crew will reach the restaurant in just abt an hour really. I promise not to wear you or your cars out. I may actually have permission to go to Lupe's party too.
Would that be a 2000 or 2001 Z3??? Is Kenny driving it or his girl? How many left hand turns? Are the roads bumpy? Fegettaboutit. Just drive
FFFWWWEEEEEERRRRFFFFFF!!! I have some ancient coins that are good for the "Connecticut Turnpike"... All tolls in CT were removed back in the late 60's or early 70's. Wonder if those coins are still good???
