Time coming to bring my 2008 F430 out, it's been in a garage in Michigan all winter with trickle charger attached. Any advice from anyone? Start up, idle, first drives, etc? This is my first time and would appreciate help/advice.

    - Make sure you check all the fluids and air pressures in the tires.

    - Make sure that you drive it very gently until all the fluids (including the engine oil temp) are up to full operating temperature. Then beat on it a little, and use it for at least 25 or 30 miles after warm.

    - If you changed the oil before storing it, like you were supposed to, I would follow the above advice. If you didn't change it before storage, I would warm it up a little, then do an oil change. After the oil change, follow the above procedure.

    - Check your gauges carefully and look for any obvious leaks on the first drive.

Enjoy the car! I'm sure it will all be fine :)

The steering might feel funny for the first drive because the tires may have worn in flat spots. (Unless you stored them on something like the Flatstoppers.) After they get heated up they will form back to round.

Good point, I forgot to mention that. In regards to storage and flatspotting, one can reduce the amount of flat spotting by putting the pressure up to the max pressure before storing the car.
