British Car Day

British Car Day is Sunday May 29. It will be at the usual location in the parking area at the corner of Paki and Monsarrat Avenues, near the Waikiki Shell. The time will be from 9:00 AM to Noon.

This information was given to me by a well informed member of the British Car Club. I did a Google search, just to verify the date, before posting and found two posts on the British Car Forum by the same person. One gave the date as May 29. The other gave the date as May 30. It might be wise to make sure of the day if you are planning to attend. I do think that the May 30 date is a typo, although it made me wonder why the event would be scheduled for the same day as the Indy 500.

Some day I would like to have the experience of seeing the Indy 500 in person. It must be quite an experience.

I made another inquiry and the British Car Day is to be on Sunday morning, May 29. The person I talked to was also puzzled by the choice of the date. I guess the planning and the arrangements with the city have to be done so far ahead of time that the date conflict didn't come to mind.
