Alright, I've been avoiding the site as I knew that I was watching the race later than most of you this time. I thought it was fantastic, good to see mc Laren carry on the suspense at least for 30 laps or so, and definitely for the first ten. Also very please to see the renault holding up on the crash. I hope this lets the boys feel that much more comfortable. Amazing to see no inury after that shunt. Brian, Though the coverage was not as good as I think we want it to be, they spent more time on on showing us the race for various poisitions and thus some interesting set up to some cool passes. Better done than usual. Only thing that could have made it better is some rain in the last few laps. But I heard lately that God was not a F1 fan and didn't want to meddle. I hope Silverstone is on the schedule next year. I didn't see the interviews (had to go to dinner) anything interesting?
Agreed on the race and rain part (was cheering, when I saw the first drops of water on the inboard cameras). I hope it will be in London instead of Silverstone next year. The interview with Ross Brawn was very interesting. Also the one with DC and especially Bernie, who always runs more than one agenda per answer...
Actually, I tried my own advice a bit... grabbed my laptop with wireless card and pulled up the Live Timing screen provided by formula1.com... gave me all the timings. I could watch MS laying down those critical fast laps... and then at the end I could watch MS slowly walk away from KR as RB was at similar pace gaining on KR. In the end, as you did, I enjoyed the British GP.
Actually, even if God did want to meddle, he might not be able to overcome Ferrari's weather control device.
