Lighten up dude. It's funny. You're offended by someone calling him Balonso?

And because, like yourself, he's a Spaniard we can't have any fun with him?

Put the 6 shooters back in your holsters and move on.

This waiting to the last minute stuff for all teams is just stupid.
Massa and Kubica screwed up royally. Not even close to worth the gamble.

Nico should have stayed in the car and pleaded to be let out one more time.

The lack of effort by some in F1 is starting to bother me.

oh I'm sure the 100,000+ Aussies living in London won't mention a word about 'our boy' being ahead of the golden child :D

also on reflection I seem to remember Button being pronounced the next greatest thing when he came into F1 in a Williams when they were the hot cars of the day, and some years later here he is getting beaten by Rubinho who some great judges on this esteemed forum say is washed up, and well he may be but where does that put Button ?

Webber has always out performed his team mates and got soso cars higher up the field than they should have and yet he gets so little recognition , even when he had a great duel with Alonso some time back where his car really had no hope of staying with him

kimi is well positioned to regain the WDC lead assuming the car doesn't brake and he doesn't make a mistake.

Rivee, I see your point. Had you or anybody else called him Balonso I wouldn't even have batted an eyelid.

But 355 is another matter. His endless repetition of "Alonsohole" over the past 12 months has been exceedingly tiresome, repetitive, and BORING. Alonsohole here, Alonsohole there: a pollution present in every thread, in every post 355 participated in. Again and again.

Now he has come up with a new stroke of litterary genius: Balonso!

Believe me, I detest LH more than you or 355 can ever imagine. That doesn't keep me from respecting his name.

Maybe some would find it funny if I wrote about Rai-kunt-en or Massaturbo in a post (I don't, and I don't think it would be funny). Would you think it funny if I wrote it in every single post over more than 2 years? I don't think so.

Anyway, moving on... Your advice is accepted.

    Forza Ferrari!

Webber is a good qualifier but makes mistakes over the duration of a race. He blew quite a few chances throughout his career, which is probably why he never sat in a top car.

If you want to be proud of Aussies in F1, look no further than Alan Jones. Now THAT was a guy who could drive!

If Kimi's car doesn't brake? That could be a problem.

I prefer Jack Brabham, 3 times WDC and also the only person in history to win the WDC and WCC

Webber is far superior to Button and yet gets no recognition .... Button sucks AND he had his shot at a top car

AJ was a great driver, he put Williams on the map

I see your point, but I think that's a moot one by now: Button has lost his fan base with his idiotic back and forth between teams and not showing any results. That maiden victory was a fluke of nature and might be the only one he'll ever have.

AJ got me hooked on F1.

First time that Heidfeld beats Kubica in the qualifying? Nice to see him back in the front, he had a pretty hard time. I understand that Massa hat problems in the pits, but what's up with Kubica? I mean, even Vettel and Piquet are in front of them...

There seemed to be some problem with the rear of the car, according to the Speed TV guys. I didn't even see Kubica go out in Q3.

It would be a comical if Hamilton ran into the back of Kimi's car at the start of the race.

I'm with Julio. If you think continuous name calling like that is "fun" you need to grow up, it's infantile. It's little wonder that some posters who come to this section to take part in mature, sensible and interesting discussions about racing don't stay very long.

I agree. I still have a copy of F1 mag somewhere from about 2005 or so where Button was on the cover and the headline was something like "It this the next world champion?". HAHA dream on mates. Of course it is a British rag. Button has always been more of a paper contender and press darling, much like Rosberg sadly. Good looks never won a race, as these two prove. I predict Button will never be a top contender, another youngster will come along by the time Button has hit his peak (which isn't high enough). Tough sport.

It would have greatly pained me to see Michael lose to Hamilton last year had he still been around, Hamilton would have probably had his car dipped in gold and then hung it from his ceiling with a plaque that read "This is the car I used to beat the formerly best F1 driver ever, Michael Schumacher". And the press would have gone nuclear kissing his feet. Yuck! Anyway, I think MS would have beat Hami last year, after all Kimi did it.

I'm happy to see Quick Nick back up there. Everyone is talking about Alonso or someone taking his seat, but it's cool to see the nice and quiet guy get the job done. I hope he takes his first win this year.

Another moment of LH arrogance / immaturity

Not sure if you guys caught it, but in Hong Kong we had ESPN broadcasting and it was showing a scene when a few drivers were in the FIA weighing room; that small group of drivers include LH, HK, NH and someone else (MW?) I forgot... everyone congratulated HK except for LH who pretends to be analyzing the times on the monitor when HK was standing right next to him getting his weighing done.

No one is asking you to be a Saint, but at least have the basic courtesy of a human being. You get beaten by your teammate for once, so what? Be a bigger man, move on and do better in the race! Don't have to be a jerk...

Yes he did congratulate him, i saw him do it. They are both good friends as well. What do you want him to do? Perform in front of the camera every time ones pointed at him? Give me a break man, seems you haters are just looking for an excuse to bash:( Very sad.
