Brittle ignition leads I had a problem yesterday, just before p2 at MIRA speed event, when found an ignition lead at rear of engine split in half. It was fairly recent, the ones with nice red covers on them. But it had gone brittle with heat (about 3 of lead) and broken under the red cover. Fortunately I saw it sparking as cover had split as well in the lead holder on cam cover. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a more heat resistant ignition lead recommended?
