Coming into town 3/24 to 3/29 with family in tow. Already got scalped for Wicked tix via one of the online venues. What a rip!!!

Any recommendations/connections on where/how to get theater tickets (Lion King, Rent, etc.) appreciated.

    Thanks.....

I've waited at the ticket booth in Times Square for tickets.
Last minute tickets at 25-75%off. I get there 1 hour before they open & I've always gotten good seats. I use this when
    1) I've waited too long to buy tickets on-line for good seats
    2) Refuse to pay those ridiculus ticket broker prices
    3) it's not too miserable outside for the wait.

Most shows are available. There's always someone employed there who knows the shows & what they are about to give you advice.

Oh, it's cash only and they are non-refundable. Show availability is posted outside the booth with pricing.

Try broadwaybox.com. They provide information on discounts and special offers as well as access to tickets. Also, if you have an American Express card, contact the concierge service. They can often get you tickets. Plus Amex has some discounts available for certain shows as well. You can call Ticketmaster or Telecharge or the box office for shows you want to see directly and check the availability of tickets. Don't forget to ask if they have any special discount deals available.

Thanks for the suggestions all! Much appreciated...

Will plan to hit the TKTS booth @ Times Square (I know the line gets REALLY long).

Brad: Once we figure out what shows (besides Wicked) and how many tix, may give Manny a call. Thanks for that!

Looking at what's going on, the NY International Auto Show gives me THE best bang for the buck. Gotta figure out when I can fit that in - looks to be a great show!!

    Thanks again guys!!!!!
