The first time in my life when im feeling proud to be Hungarian ... :)

International GT Racer Kalman Bodis and his team, Bovi Motorsport, chose the 2006 Luxusautó Show held in Budapest, Hungary, to show off their creation, the Brokernet Silver Sting. Hungarian financial company Brokernet is the main sponsor of the car and as such the Silver Sting bears the company name.

7 years in the making, the Brokernet Silver Sting was designed by Zoltan Peredy. The exterior design is most flattering when the complicated shapes of the lateral intakes are all visible. And while the rest of the car looks slightly generic (for a supercar) the real purpose of the Silver Sting is racing, not posing.

The Brokernet Silver Sting is powered by a 3.6 litre, flat 6 cylinder from a Porsche 911 GT3. The engine develops 432 bhp @ 7000 rpm and 437 Nm of torque @ 6500 rpm. With a total weight of just 1100 kg (2425 lbs), the Brokernet Silver Sting gets to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

Bodis has used his racing experience to create a car he can race competitively in GT races all over the world. However he has also shown that Hungary is capable of building a car to be reckoned with, and with adequate sponsorship a small scale production run is feasible.
