Brother's, I feel I may have commited a sin...

So, my neighbor recently got a Gallardo.

I've been wanting to shoot it for a while. And, I figured, why not bring the Porsche out.

So, yesterday, I went over, brought up the idea, and he liked it. So, he was going to clean the car, we were going to clean the 996, and we would go.

So, he pulls up to the house, and I hop in. I think "Man, this is so cool." The second exotic car I've ever ridden in (First was a G Spyder)

So, we get to the location, arrange the cars, and I get to work.

After getting 107 pictures, we move the cars to a nice water front spot.

I finish there with just over 40 pics.

And, were just about finished, and he says "Here, you drive"

I say, "Are you kidding?"

He says, "No, I trust you. You know more about this thing than I do"

I say, "Well, I'm not going to say no, but, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous as hell"

So, I get in the car, get everything adjusted to my liking.

Put the key in the ignition, fuel pumps priming, lots of beeps, then, silence.

He said, you know what to do next.

chkchkchkchkchk VROOOOOOOOOM.

Fires up with a roar coming out of the tubi exhaust.

So, off I go. I'm shaking. Once we get moving a bit, I hunker down, and get comfortable.

It was as if I was made for driving this car. It all came to me naturally. The E-gear was awesome.

So, he said, now, you know what I'm going to tell you to do...

So, I flick the downshift paddle twice into 2nd, and very hesitant to put the peddal on the floor, I give it about 1/2 throttle. Even that was enough to make me break out with the giggles. Then, he said, come on, I know you can do better than that, So, I drop it back down to 2nd, and actually had the pedal on the floor. The sound this car made, was unlike anything I've ever ridden in. It was unbelievable. Then, at about 7k rpm, I flick the upshift paddle, a bit of a pause, then, RIGHT back on the power. The way this car threw me into the back of my seat was so incredible.

So, about 10 minutes into it, I see my parents next to us. My mom shooting pictures and video and I think, wow. This is really happening. I'm driving a Lamborghini.

So, it was about a good 15 minute drive and by far, the greatest 15 minutes of my life so far. By the time we got home, my face was KILLING me from smiling.

The first one I rode in, was a G Spyder. I loved. You can hear the engine so much better, plus have the nice south Florida wind in your hair. Just don't stop. Or you'll be baked

Then, I rode in a Murcielago which was a whole other monster, then rode in this, then drove it home.

I really gotta step up my Ferrari game!

The closest I've gotten to even ridin in one was starting one. And, that just so happened to be an Enzo
