Dale, You found a great car which has much love and care. The cleanest 348 around. Have fun.... Ray, I thought you would never let that baby go ?????????
Excellent news mate nobody deserves it more than you, i think you will look great behind the wheel, now bring it down to my place so we can show the Welsh ladies
Fantastic car Dale. Congratulations ! I am sure the poor car is looking forward to playing around on some track days now it has been let out of the front porch
Phillip you dont know about this car I have prooved you can use a Ferrari and still keep it in tip top condition I competed in the FOC Hill Climb compitition for a year I raced it twice in the Pirelli Marenelo Challenge when my race car was sick and been to most tracks in this country and some in Europe ..Ferraris are made to use but you can also look after them to the standard i did with the 348. So dont feel sorry for the POOR car she has had a great life and it will continue in Dales trained Ferrari hands RAY360M PS lounge not porch
Congratulations Dale, car looks a beauty! Your aquisition does raise a few questions though: 1) how much Zymol came with the purchase? 2) were you shown the correct wax-on, wax-off technique at hand-over? 3) did Ray tell you the price, or just give you an estimate? 4) did you turn up on time, or ring him at the last minute, taking a deep breath, and say you couldn't even hope to get there before next week? 5) who bought Dino? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134981108&postcount=7 6) does anyone want SteveF to pick their lottery numbers for them, he may be better at predicting those than guessing when people will sell their "pride and joy" 7) how long did it take you to discover that driving it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on? Enjoy your new car, and for goodness sake KEEP IT CLEAN!
Clive best laugh i have had today Defo up to Steve f standard of p--s take I will try and answere for Dale one at a time 1) None that would have been a legit extra 2)Being younger than me i did not think i could teach him anything in this subject 3) Estimate you know us builders 4) Sad reflection on the building trade (harsh but true) 5) No firm bids so unsold (bit the postman thismorning) hahahaah 6)He dont need to win the lottery he only spend it on a Stradale if he did (V8 !! proper Ferrari 7) We better let Dale answere that one Crikey he is out there cleaning it ready for inspection RAY360M hahaha CHEQUE is in the post Clive (good ole builder saying whene being chased for dosh)

Hi there m8 Love the car. However I have some tips on driving your first Ferrari. 1) Ignore anyone who wants to edge you on or wind you up on the street, especially at traffic lights. 2) If you are in a tight squeeze, for example want to overtake a bus and you know you can just make it, but to be safe you choose not to, wait till the bus moves and ignore any idoits who honk the horn behind you. 3) If anyone makes a passing comment such as 'oh its a old one' its just envy and jealousy on there part. 4) Pull as many girls as you can!
Mr. Mullet Thank gawd you got it and spilled the beans, it was murder not telling anyone. Ray's old car is awesome, I saw it last year at See Red and he didn't win the concours, it was obviously rigged cos it was the best one there. I must say I admire Ray's dedication to keep a car in that condition is no mean fete. Hope you can keep it looking good Dale but don't be put off by a weather forecast that say's sunny spells with showers or you'll never go out at all. So well done m8 see you at Stanford Hall, weather permitting of course
Congratulations !!! I saw the car at FOC last year and it was perfect. What's with the weather permitting ?
