Remember back in the early 90's when Boxers were in the mid 200s? Who didn't see this one coming?

forgot to mention its an estate sale and a repaint as well as the other boxers that are more market correct in their asking prices. You didnt mention the $450K daytonas and the rest of the expensive ferraris for sale. Just another case of sour grapes Mike, you sold too soon and that 288 just left you behind LMAO!

Prices of everything especialy luxury items will weaken. that being said the boxer now moves towards classic ferrari status, so prices may not fall to the 60's and will rebound further.

Daytonas were 150 just a few years back, now supposedly 450k but they probably never sold for more than 300-350K maybe, they go to 225 and boxers go to 100k. Of course the future 100K will be worth on 75K in toidays money. After the blood has flowed we will have big inflation and non financial assets
will be desirable as a partial hedge, in which case the prices will skyrocket. Depends on how long the smash takes.

LOL keep dreaming. Boxers become $60K cars, TR's become winter beaters, its all relative plus the boxer is faster - Ive driven both.

I'm hoping the entire economy collapses !
    So many bargains.
Of course without jobs buying may get tougher.
    No plan is perfect.

We were looking good. Two months back $1.00 Ozzie was buying $0.98 USD. I was planning a trip over, buy a car, cruise around then send it home.

    Today we hit $0.72c ???

How does that work, that our economy collapses when your National debt tops 10 trillion?

Why is it that most subscribers here live behind the curve and wait for others to shine a light ahead of it...In all aspects of life you try to live ahead of the curve and there are no surprises...
Its like reading todays paper in 1 month and thinking thats the way it is now...NOT....Reality hurts....
In order for the bbi to enter the ranks of daytona, 275's and 250's it must pass lots more water under the bridge...this economic downturn will serve to advance the value of the 512 bb's in the years to come...as for now cash is King...get real they can be had for songs.
Sold my first Boxer in 89' 6 months before bubble burst...Sold this one 12 months before Bub Burst..no sour grapes here..Did miss my chance at the 288 for 425 though.

The classic Ferrari market is a lagging indicator - not a leading one.
Real Estate market has been in decline for several years now.
Stock market turned downward only several months ago.
The Ferrari market is about to enter a decline.
The cars which appreciated last will depreciate first. (boxers, dinos, vintage 4-seaters)

This is a natural cycle and everything will dip, then come back up, Boxers included. If you really love your car, don't sell.If you've always wanted a Boxer or TR, the next months may be your chance as Boxers may temporarily dip under $100K for a few months.

Believe it or not its great in the snow and the rain. My friend with a TR says his car is unbearable to drive in the wet. :)
