    Buddy Boren died yesterday. Buddy was one the promoters of the 1984 Formula One race held at Fair Park. He subsequently promoted the Dallas Grand Prix held first at Addison Airport and then around ReUnion Arena until TMS opened in the mid 90's. Buddy's races did much to lay the groundwork for the interest in racing in North Texas. RIP Buddy.
