    Budget caps and relaxed technical regulations; A good idea for an F1 feeder series! This would be perfect for a recrudescence of F2! Yes the two-tiered thing was not a good idea, but the concept is not bad. Lets just put the little guys in their own series! The 'relaxed technical regulations' would make it a blast to watch. Use the new series to replace GP2, don't mess with F1! This way we'd be able to see all the new teams (that want the budget cap) and wild cars they come up with, without tainting F1.

    GP2 is utter brilliance, why replace it?

    I try to watch all the GP2 races now which proves near impossible since BBC didn't get GP2 with their package, which meant Charlotte Webster was sadly dropped as well (google her).

    Hmmm - What an idea!.... I suspect they'd struggle to fill the F1 grids for a while as many teams would leave. Some kind of compromise to keep, eg, Sir Frank involved would be needed. Assuming that can be done;

    Don't replace GP2, either merge 'em or start a new series - Makes no difference to me.

    But, assuming full grids in both series, I'd love to see a soccer league style "promotion and demotion" deal - You suck, you get relegated to the minors, and vice versa - Keep's 'em on their toes a little.... [I'd also like to see this in the big 4 US sports, but the problem is the owners make their own rules and they aren't gonna relegate themselves..... Very different to F1 and soccer.]

    Cheers,
    Ian
