    With the world gone crazy... what you do all think is a reasonable price for a 348 belt service / major?

    So... USD.

    If just a simple engine out, belts, hoses, water pump (always do a WP), fluid changes, timing, plugs, valve adjustment... I'd say 5-6k

    My last was 7-8k because i also did the oil pickup tensioner.

    If it needs headers that's more.
    Anything else they find could increase it.

    I'd say 5 on the low end. I paid double that at Competizione but we replaced hoses and did a number of other things.

    It all depends on if you take it to a shop or do it yourself. It also depends on what needs replacing.

    Shop = $5,000usd - $18,000+
    Self = $500 - $4000

    It ALL depends on how deep you need to go once the engine is out. My last major service was in the $4000 range because I did just about everything you could do, and I mean EVERYTHING. That was doing all the work myself. Had it been at the dealer EASILY a $18,000 if not over $20,000. But now that everything things has been done, the next engine out will probably be in the $500 - $1000 range.

    It aaaaaaall depends on what you find.
