Anyone going to Luxury Motors Bugatti test drive this weekend in Downers Grove?
Didn't hear about it, so details? Along the East side of 294 by Bensonville bridge, a hugh sign on side of building claiming new home to them.
I haven't heard about it either. I didn't realize Luxury Motors is an authorized dealer of Bugatti either..not too sure how I feel about that.
hello, bentley gold coast is a dealer for bentley/saleen/bugatti. bentley gold coast is a division of luxury motors (or vise versa) regards. joe
However, aren't they notorious for having a terrible reputation? Not someone you'd like to have dealing with one of the most expensive cars in the world..
hello, from what i've heard, their "luxury motors" division in downers grove has had title issues. i spoke with a former lamborghini salesperson who posts on f-chat that part of the reason of their bad reputation, is that they have such a high invertory turnover, so they have a better chance of having more cars with issues sell 100 cars a year and have two lemon's, you have two angry customers complaining to anyone who will listen. sell a thousand cars a year and have twenty lemons, you have twenty angry customers complaining to anyone who will listen. people expect a good experience, and don't necessarily voice themselves when they receive one. a bad experience is more likely to draw a more vocal response. i'm not defending their dealership, bad titles are bad news. run a carfax report, get a PPI and use due dilligence. my $0.02 joe
BS, they suck! A very large and reputable dealer was leasing them space at their MB dealership. The partnership didn't last long, once the MB dealer found them out!
So nobody has any info about the bugatti test drive and demonstration tomorrow. It is supposed to be by invite only and is supposed to be kept secret but I would love to just see that thing in action.
I'll go down there to check it out. BTW, AWESOME shot on the Veyron getting repaired. If thats one of the ones making the tour I hear they have around 25k on the odo already!
I thought it was a press car but I asked the salesman if it was and he said it was a customer car. I had to explain to him what I meant by press car (think he was foreign, as many there are) so he may or may not know for sure. If anyone has a magazine with it in it we could check the plates.
I talked to Mitch who works downtown one of the only friendly guys who works there and that is for sure the press car. Same one that was on the cover of the robb report driving in the desert.
I saw it 2 weeks ago for the bugatti of troy event at the bay harbor concours in michigan. the car is stunning and I got to ride in it for 1/4 mile. but it is a press car and there ar only 4 in the country 2 of which are manufacture cars and the other 2 are in denver belonging to a car collector that happens to own a porn empire. the white one only has 18,000 miles and there was a grey one that had 19,000 miles, that one I got to ride in to but for 4 miles up to 150! here are some pics. I figured it had to be..the press car I remember had CA mfr plates. Will the Veyron be up there tomorrow do you know?
I was looking through some more personal photos of me and the car. But when the white one was there It did not have a plate on therefore it did do test drives. There was the grey one I drove in, and they were doing customer demos and that car had a plate. I believe the two cars share one plate and I looked at another personal photo of the grey one and it did match the plate from the white one in the repair photo.
As I've mentioned before that's not entirely true. theres one in denver and one in florida. I'm also not too sure the one in denver is owned by who you say (i believe its richard berry who got $ from the yellowpages fortune)
I just got back from Downers Grove and it was out with a customer. They said it was going straight downtown once it got back however. Can anyone confirm?
