I loved him when I was a little kid. What an epic persona. The schnoz, "The nose knows!" Just a comedic pioneer. I even saw Henny Youngman LIVE once. "Take my wife... please."
It looks damn near the same as the Chiron, but I think it looks better. That engine is something else though. I love it. I was worried when Rimac took over that they were going to go full electric. Instead they created one of the most interesting and cool engines of the 21st century. Bravo. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Engineering gets a 10. Interior 10. But exterior is little awkward and busy looking. Rear end is best view. Overall a tour d force
Bolide is their best style wise followed by 300 mph long tail one. This one needs evolve bit more over time
mate rimac gave a big dis to ferrari by saying he was motivated to avoid drab driving experience of sf90! whoa thems fighting words
Have to say Tourbillon is really cool name for the car, given its high revving complex V16. Apparently the architecture is two mirrored 90° V8's unified to work in tandem with 45° difference in crankshaft between the two "virtual" V8 units. This provides even firing for all 16 cylinders (naturally V16 requires 45° V to provide even firing). This is explained in the video:
Kind of. But it was not summarised yet that... Tourbillon V16 Crank = V8 crank + 45° shift + V8 crank
That horsepower meter is cool now that it contains pointers for both ICE and electric motors (shown at the end of video).
I personally like the design but a lot of people seem to be pissed off outside this forum. Honestly don't know what they were expecting since it does carry cues from the Bolide, Mistral and Divo especially at the rear end so no unexpected moves made. The V16 makes me wonder what they could do if they were to chop off one bank of cylinders and do a EB era inspired car but it definitely doesn't fit the current brand image.
I think it’s extraordinary. Only thing. Is the steering wheel huge in diameter? It’s hard to tell so far.
