Just bought this smiley car...excited to get it home and see the smiles it brings around here. Clearly not my picture, bought from British sportscars. Image Unavailable, Please Login

The car brings back some fond memories. When i was in college a frat brother had on of these. I always wanted to buy a bug eyed Sprite. Sadly I never did. The Best and thank you for posting Lee
Sweet Car!! I'm still trying to get the one I know of that's been sitting in a barn for at least the last 15 year, it's even the same color as yours. I won't give up. Although maybe I should, picking up a TD next week to add to the MGA, MGB, and Model A in a 2 car garage. Nope, not giving up, can always build a bigger garage. haha
Off the truck and took it for a spin down the block. Don't have much time for a shakedown until later this week, but it is AWESOME! Feels tight, starts right up. Used the choke, hadn't done that in a while. Now I need to figure out all the switches apparently the fan has it's own switch. thanks to british sportscars for a smooth transaction. thanks. At first glance the only thing not working is the gas gauge. Tried to fill up but it wouldn't take any fuel, must be full. I'll have to check it out. Do you know where the trip odometer reset is? Figure if the gas gauge won't work that the trip odometer will keep me from getting in too much trouble.
I'm sure someone else knows better but on the MGA of the same vintage the reset is a knob under the speedo which is barely visible from the front
You can easily use a clean paint stirrer stick to check your gas level. Should be about 5 inches deep if full.
