I thought I would share something I thought was a little out of the ordinary. Do you think it's strange too? I have a late 1990 Canadian Testarossa, built in September 1990. The VIN clearly has a "L" signifying it is a 1990. I was looking on EBay and came across a US version 1991 that has a "M" VIN that clearly signifies it as a 1991, however it was built in August of 1990 and a serial number lower then my 1990 by 331 units. It appears the factory was shipping 1991 TR's before they even started building some of the 1990 TR's. Is this common? I thought it was interesting.

Here is the 1991 TR I was referring to:

    Ferrari Testarossa Testarossa | eBay

The 10 digit of the VIN is a M which is a 1991 but its build date is a month before my car which has a L for 1990. Isn't that odd?

Yes I know I've seen this before. This car is also lower than mine by it's serial number. Mine is 86865 and is a 1990.

Could it be because our cars are CDN? I don't know.

My car is 86767 so our cars are close. I guess the Canadian thing could have something to do with it, but even then... I just found that so weird I would ask to see if anyone here knew the reason why.
