A dirt compound would be awesome! I dont really know of any really good ones here in Oz mate! We have a local dirt Speedway here which is cool, but I am sure there are way better ones around but I havent seen them yet.
my compound would need to be private. as long as i could walk around naked all day it would be ok. an 8,000 square foot contemporary/mountain cabin home. 4 car above ground garage. underground garage pool hot tub tennis court basketball court hockey rink quadding/bike course beach volleyball court separate building for misc. things
My close friend and next door neighbor (a prominent Portland neurosurgeon) is working on this right now, with these changes: 72 wooded acres with several horse fields Main house (still in planning with architect, but will be modern/industrial) will, from what I understand, have 2 stories on uphill side, 3 stories down, great views of his private, trout-stocked 6 acre lake Secondary home (existant, but completely remodeled in the last 6 months) with kitchen, two guest bedrooms, two baths, two car garage, huge new Trex decks, also overlooking lake, 60x100 barn with stage and bar, Airstream, several cars, tractor with a lineup of accessories that looks like LeMans (bucket, backhoe, grader, rototiller, posthole digger, 30 ton log splitter, 72" deck mower, etc), ATVs, Moto-X bikes, miles of interconnecting trails, just no skatepark. No dorm, but planning several off-grid cabins throughout woods in coming years We were friends with him before he bought the place, have become much closer, and have traveled to Sun Valley and Yellowstone with he and his girlfriend (who we were coincidentally very close with prior to their dating). Our 'little' space next door is a mere 5 acres, but (IMO) actually has better views of the lake and property because we're higher up the hill. We have full access to his property through our yard, including a private dock well out of sight of his house with a canoe and SeaCycle, permission to fish, and have recently connected our trails to his (as well as helping maintain his, as he's pretty busy). My wife (marathoner) runs his property daily, and I'll likely be the only one hunting it during both deer and elk seasons. It's good to be the King. But it's also pretty good to be friends with the King. If you're reading this- Thanks, Todd! -Tad EDIT: ...and the next neighbor down, who also lets us use his trails, has a 1/8 mile banked dirt oval and holds a mudfest every year on New Years!
I'm thinking of holding bikini volleyball contests I'll have to pick the contestants and the bikinis of course
