Nice write up Scott... I recall the price difference was only something like 26k when new between a stock 360 F1 and CS. Infact if you fully optioned up your Modena with half rollcage, race exhaust, engine dressing kit, fire extinguisher, etc. you literally could pay more for a Modena than a CS Also on the blueprinting front it equates to little difference, the higher compression ratio of the pistons did a few hp only if you have high octane fuel. The CS engine was blueprinted but so was the Modena's. The differences lie in fine tolerances on the head flow and selection of weight for pistons and conrods. It was to 0.5% on CS vs 2% on Modena was (also blueprinted). End result was tiny difference in power but every little helps huh? The biggest improvement one can make to power is high flow cats to complement the high flow race style exhaust...

Great fun filming that with Matt, he actually flew over to film the Ratarossa, but when I told him about the beaten up Strad he wanted to film that to
