How much height should I allow from finish floor to finish drywall ceiling for a car and lift. I understand that what type of car is on the lift and under the lift may be a factor. I am looking for "Rule of thumb" numbers. Thank you in advance.

i'm pulling it off with 9 feet floor to ceiling but its going to be tight (575 + nsx + 6inches). 10 feet or more will have you well covered.

For your own piece of mind 14ft
Websites say 11ft works. You just dont want the hassle down the road.

You can store regular height cars on top in this scenario as well.

Also make sure you have the right set up for liftmaster garage door openers to get the thing out of your way.

Thank you for your help, that is exactly what I was looking for. I am planning on using the liftmaster openers and also having the doors run up the wall and along the ceiling.
