I am trying to get all the electrical items that were left to rot fixed in my new Mondial. I need to know what the replacement bulb is for the map/swivel light in the glove box. I think it says GE 558 on it, but the label is nearly rubbed off. Any help? Thanks!!

I replaced the license plate bulb with a bulb at Pep Boys for 2 bucks. It was the same bulb. You may want to see if they have the glove box one. I bet it's a similar size to the license plate bulb if not the same bulb. It looks like it is.

Thanks for the reply, but this bulb seems to have a lens built into the top of it as if it can focus the light. It looks a little different than an ordinary wedge base bulb because of this. Heading to NAPA today to see if they can help. Also I will try my local Ferrari dealer as they seem really helpful as well.

I checked mine out. It is faded as well, but I can make out, what I believe to be, the numbers "558" and, below those, "314". This looks like the same bulb that is used for the fiber optic lighting of the console. You might want to look at that one. Please let us know if you find a replacement.
