Whats the easiest way to change the headlight's (9006) on a 348? I have read the manual, but am sure there has got be an easier way. Also, has anyone seen the schematic on the owners manual regarding the Foglights, I pulled out H3 bulbs for Fog, but the manual I have says H1?

Raise the lights, Remove the couple of screws out of the bezel retainer of the lens and pull the lens assembly out towards yourself, disconnect the two sure seal plugs and change your blown bulb, reinstall the same way you removed. I had to do mine the other day, took longer to remove the new bulb out of the blister pack than the light assembly itself :)

Ok, when you raised your lights, did you have current running through it? Or did you raise them another way? I did remove the screws out of the bezel retainer and pulling it out is not that easy. It is overly tight, like am about to scratch the paint of the bottom portion of the car (right below). Is there any trick or angle that am not seeing? Thanks ....

Yeah I just had the ignition on with the lights on. Mine was a bit tight to remove also but I was just carefull not to scratch my duco also. Going back together was actually easier then removing as far as the tightness goes. Good luck.

Might be worth changing both globes while your going to the trouble like I did also, just a thought ;)

PAP, thanks, yes it is tight and I will be changing both bulbs. Any thoughts on the Fog Lights, everywhere I read states H1, I went in to change mine and found H3's in there instead? And the H3's fit nicely in there, maybe better then the H1's?

One of my fog lights stopped working just after I purchased mine. My brother ended up repairing that fault for me (the supply wire was open circuit) and yeah I think you are right they did have a H3 fitted. The H1 uses a different mount platform for the earth so they would not fit anyways. I haven't got my parts manual handy right now to check what bulb mine recommends and bugger if I'm going to re-check whats fitted on my car because getting those inner bezel clips clipped back on the fog lights takes me for ever :)

I have attached 2 pics of the H1 and the H3, The H3 has the short tail ;)
