An acquaintance of mine with the CSP sent me this photo. Apparently the Bull Run Piloti was not amused by his 40mph over the limit ticket. Hey, we win a lot more often than we lose.

I know that spot well! US285/24 approaching Johnson's Village. This stretch is heavily patroled by the CSP and Chaffee County. However, the stretch from the top of Trout Creek Pass to Johnson's Village is pretty dangerous with a lot of accidents, often fatal. There are many blind curves and I would consider 95 to be very unreasonable especially in the summer when it is crowded with tourists, trucks and RVs. People often make risky passes on the stretch. Accross south park, 95 can be done pretty safely if you don't mind risking a ticket.

PS: that's Mt Princeton in the backround. I plan to climb it Sat for the 6th time.

I saw this on the news. I wish I would have known they were coming through Denver!

Saw this on the news too. The driver of the Ferrari had a suspended license. His passenger is a policeman. The CSP made the driver get out of the car and had the policeman drive the car. I'm sure they switched back after leaving Colorado.
