I do in the summer- I live right down the street from there. Ive been going off and on for years. Not many exotics but a fantastic bunch of muscle.

There an ice cream shop there too in the parking lot so its fun for the whole family.

I turn up every once in a while in my 911. I tell them it's a fancy volkwagen and they let me stay.

It's fun to see, but I always feel bad for the dudes that break down on 234 just a mile or two from the BK. How embarrassing does that have to be? :)

haha yeah it usually lacks of exotics up there..when I use to go there would be 4 or 5 vipers though.

Its even worse when one of the guys get into an accident turning out of BK

I've always heard that is a good place to see muscle but that it turns over to the younger, ricier crowd after 8.

I've never had the chance to make it out. Some day...

    regards

The crowd does change after 8ish. Its not a bad crowd but a very different crowd. Week to week I would say that 75% of the same cars are there. It is a fantastic display to say the least.

I have driven by before, I did not stay. Yes, they have a wide selection of muscle cars, but it really looked like the good 'ole boy crowd.

Hay Bobby, whuts rong with us good ol boys?

I gots a Furarri and a b!tchin 'Stang that'll boil the tars in 3 gears.

Seriously, I do notice a difference between the exotic and muscle crowd too. Nothing bad or anything. Just different. I like both groups but they typically do not mix very well.

Being a Good-ole-Boy myself, I don't think that there is a difference in the "two" groups.
Just a bunch of guys and gals who pour tons of everything into their hobby.
Most of these folks have restored their cars and have a very different understanding of the hobby than folks who simply buy a car and drive. This area is way to diverse to simply tag all the participants as good-ole-boys.

There have been a number of "exotics" there and everyone just sits around and chats. It is a very cool club and I think that a few Ferraris or What ever would be greatly appreciated.

And as a disclaimer- I am in no way being defensive or responding to any particular post.

Last time I stopped in there the picture of me and my wife and our Pantera was still on the wall...

That was quite a few years ago... I will have to make it up there this summer.

Never been to the burger king (although I have wanted to go several times). I have taken my F-car to several cruise-ins in southern maryland and always have had a welcoming experience from the muscle car guys. Cant say there is a difference in groups. I would say we are all car guys. Maybe the difference is those who work on their own stuff and those who pay someone else to wrench and clean so all they do is drive.

I grew up in Clifton and I used to take my 641/2 Mustang convertible over to the pizza joint off RT28 and Manassas Park Dr back in the late 80's early 90's. Lots of fun and a good crowd.
All I am saying is just had a different vibe over at the BK, maybe it was the car, I don't know, maybe it was just me.
Anyway, yea, this summer I would love to go out and check it out one night.

I think it would be fantastic to see a group of F- cars go over to the BK. Maybe a few of the vintage guys could come too. Its just a couple of months away! Maybe i will do a bit of research and find out what the actual club is that puts the show on.
As for the vibe- the guy with the fierorrari that i have seen a few times- he will not be pleased, seeing as he has been the only one representing anything Ferrari!HAHAH

No I haven't seen the blue one- I was referring to the red 308- It was cool seeing it in person though- I never saw a real fake and this thing was just so funny to see. Seems like a lot of work and money to make a fake car when after everything is said and done- they could have had a real 308 for the same price if not cheaper.

Yeah i saw the red one there about a year ago...

There use to be one red modena that I would see on 28 and stuff on saturdays but I havent seen it in a god 6 months...it looked like a younger guy too.

It definitely changes as the night goes on, friday night also has the same thing.

Has anybody else seen the orange murcie that drops by every so often?

I don't think that there's any real "club" that puts it on. Some guys may be part of a club, but I don't think it's truly organized. There are some of the same guys there every week. I've never really made it a point to go, but if I'm out and about, I usually drive by to see if there's something interesting. I like the old restored Mustangs where they have replicated the factor grease pencil markings under the hood as they would have looked brand new in 196x.

The orange Murcie must be that one that's all over the Haymarket area. I used to see that guy all the time around here, but never at the BK.

My cousin's a hardcore mustang restoration guy, he does the grease pencils and all that...I don't think he takes the cars to BK though.

Actually, I think it might have been a orange diablo...I was just at electronic+'s site and they had a pic of it in the intro.. http://www.eplusaudio.com/Splash.aspx?id=tw_redirection

The orange Murcie belongs to a gentlemen named "Chris" who lives in Culpepper. I met him one day at the Best Buy, nice guy. He bought that car and another one new from FOW. Bob Macawe was his sales guy. Very low key guy, we went on a drive once. I have not seen or spoken with him in a while either.

Ive seen this lambo a few times parked over near 234 and the intersection of 28- they have a showroom there in that plaza. I think their install shop is in the strip plaza at liberia and euclid. Ive seen a number of their cars parked there too.

    This blue one, perhaps?:)
Actually, the kids and I cruise there and hang out fairly regularly since it's not too far from the house. Pretty laid back atmosphere. Can't wait for it to start up again.
