Burned 308 battery cable wire to relay panel fix

    as part of my on going repairs efforts, I discovered a poor connection condition at the blade connector end of the main battery cable feed to the branch connection on the dash relay panel. I removed and saved the connector (it is BIG!) and cut off the bad (brittle) copper strands. I tinned the end and soldered the blade connector back on and slipped on some heat shrink tubing for added protection. That should help the cause towards a better electrical system on this car.

    That looks really good, I noticed the same thing on mine and have been trying to locate new connectors without any luck so far.

    Yes, I looked and could not find those larger blade sizes either. i just cleaned up and reused the old one.
