Burnt out F50 - Is it a write off?

Looks like it is ready to be a parts car for another hot wheels that was involved in a rear end collision.

Did the same thing with my G.I. Joe collection when I was 5, wished I didn't do that now that I lookup what they are worth! You shouldn't be playing with matches son.

 

I think zupra will be VERY UNHAPPY with you when he gets back from vacation!!!

Your insurance company may have a dim view of this type activity as well!

Personally I think he lost ground effects getting airborne through the turn, and the rear end got light and came around....

Judging by the pool of flammable liquid underneath the car in the first picture. This is a job for Ferrari Chat Model Car Abuse Police. (FCMCAP). Stay in the kitchen. Do not move. Do not touch the crime scene. Do not breathe in any more "funny smelling" fumes. Wait until the FCMCAP arrive.

Sometimes the fuel lines can fail on these cars that have been stored for long periods. USE CAUTION when entering the garage.

What happened to this guy? I keep seeing small shots about him and some crash? Could anyone give details? He was ok right? If not I do not think you should talk about him or his car's demise like some scene in Top Gun. I hope it sounds as funny as people are posting.
