    Just bought this little beauty at 'Fantasy Junction' in Emeryville/San Francisco area.( 1961 356B ) Nice little driver until spring brings a new 550 or 360 to the mix.
    Probably going to take delivery in the next couple of weeks after they put a luggage rack and stone guards on the headlights.
    If you guys haven't checked out their website, you should. The cars are varied and amazing! Last summer I was on location for about a month in the bay area and dropped in one day, two 275 GTB's long and short nose, original California GT, etc. etc. better than Disneyland or a trip to the candy store. I might document the drive back to the winter house in Santa Fe depending on the weather / road conditions, if so I'll post some pics. I guess I'll have to join Gothspeed as an honorary 'Brother' now that I've passed on the 'Bushmobile' to Copterjon, definitely going through 348 withdrawal's the last couple months.

    They are just great little cruisers, really comfortable and relaxed. I've had a few Porsche's but the 356 is just understated classy fun.

    HEre I am trying rid myself of a Porsche and you go ahead and buy one! :p Actually, I had considered getting one of those, race prepped, to do vintage. I hear it's fun and not fast enought to really mess you up physically or financially. However, knowing that my personality is an "all or nothing" type, I would be ignoring the Ferrari and other stuff in search of racing the Porsche. Kind of OCD. I'll just watch you enjoy yours. That car is perfect for cruising up to Napa to do the wineries. Need a guide, bud? :)

    Hmmm!!!!!!! not a bad idea BeeJay.........some of us do have a history of the "P" car in our blood, sort of a 'skitzo' kind of dual personality thing.

    Heck, I'm gonna have a shirt made with the Corvette, Ferrari, Porsche, and Harley logos on it. It'll look like a bowling shirt. I can't seem to locate sew on Corvette patches. The Ferrari and Porsche logos have the prancing horse in common.
