Again I think Button has been a complete wanker about this. Apparently he is not even talking to Richards or BAR ... ?? Changing team should not be about destroying the team you are in ... after BAR has only been good for Button. Personally if what I have read is true and JB is really been this immature about it ... I hope he has a dismal season in Williams and is soon watching F1 from via TV. What a dork ... and I was a big fan. Pete
man, its sad. you dont walk out of your team when they are close to becoming world champions. it would be like michael walking out of benneton before they won their world championship. I mean BAR has worked hard and pretty much saved his carrer. But the again this is formula 1, and i bet there is much more behind to what he just said today.
The beginning of the end for button. He and Webber will have a miserable season. FW is off. Mika will shine, but not as much as we'd like. People will make the wrong inferences, but "if you wanna win, you gotta get the Finn." McLaren will be out for an ass-kicking contest next year... but no WC by a long shot. Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen will eventually move to Scuderia Ferrari by 2008. Untill then no driver change!
Moving forward to 2007: Old man MS is having difficulties getting into his Ferrari nowadays ... walking frame gets in the way. So much so that Ferrari are endangered of being disqualified because MS will never be able to get out of his car under the safety time limit ... RB is also having trouble, but it is of a different kind ... the team are unsure whether to undo his straight jacket or not, between his violent outbursts and the manic mutterings: 'I can beat MS, I can, I really CAN' ... 'Okay Ross I'll let him through again ... but I want to be on top tonight ... tonight baby' ... 'Should I pass, should I have a go, should I, should I ...' ... dribble. Pete
