    Hi Guys

First post here so be nice.

I drove a 16M on Saturday and it looks like I will buy one in the next week or so.

Anything obvious to look for, eg. ECU read for % clutch left, etc?

New to Ferrari having spent my life with Porsche and Lamborghini. But the 16M is just unbelieveable, particularly now that the sun's arrived.

    Thanks for all advice

    Andrew

Here is a very good check list that was done by one of the F-chat members. Check out the car using as much of the list as you want.

    Best of Luck

Most of these are so new and all under warranty, there really is little to look for aside from abuse of the previous owner.

Be sure to check that the TSBs have been done. There was a tire recall and check the carbon fiber in the engine compartment. Some are turning white because of the heat. These will be replaced under warranty. Very expensive if you pay for it yourself.

I've had problems with my hood as it doesn't self engage every time so it required adjustment under warranty. No big deal but just annoying having to go back to the dealer.

If you get the choice between iPod and Becker then go for the Becker. iPod is a cool idea but in practice it's fiddly to operate.

    Thanks guys.

It does have the ipod apparently.

The spec sheet I've just received also lists "dedication plate specially signed by a Famous Person", wonderful value to the original owner at CHF 550 I'm sure.

It is a black car with tricolour stripe, black alcantara interior, yellow calipers and stitching and yellow horses plus some other bits and bobs.

Thats pretty much exactly what I have. Do you have the forged 5 spoke wheels or scud style wheels?

    The scud wheels.

Quite excited to see this car now - I was worried it would have some hideous red interior but the previous owner seems to have some taste!
