So been fortunate to acquire all my horses fresh from the stable, but a really special GT4LUSSO has caught my attention. Clean Records , Milage appears to be correct , 20k , 2 Maintenance sessions left. A little lower Bumper Rash that can easily be baptized by a good shop. All Ferraris have there issues... The Superamerica roof Bonding, the 355 F1 Actuators ( solved with a nice Hammer LOL ) , Sticky Buttons ect....

What do I need to watch for or worry about on this little Italian Shooting Brake ? of course I will have a Ferrari dealer look under her skirt ..... but what will they not tell me!

    Appreciate all info !

Probably the most expensive repair is the PTU. Unfortunately there is no way to detect a problem until you actually have a failure. So you can't watch for it, but you can worry about it, unless you get a Power Warranty.

My 2017 has been great except for the dreaded PTU. Other than that I’m not aware of any other issues I would look out for. Inspect the front bumper cover for the dimples though. Mine were pretty bad but used the hack on here to get them mostly back to shape.

The nose is so long a scrape is bound to happen. The front plastic piece that goes across the middle isn’t cheap but easily replaceable.

For me the stock sound was really disappointing so I went aftermarket but that’s completely subjective.

Best of luck and you won’t be disappointed. I’m 5+ years with mine and still love driving it.

I bought my sight unseen and if I did it again I would have looked at the front bumper for dimples like @gilly6993 mentioned. Although we did stuff the nose with pipe insulation and it’s 90% perfect.

I also would have preferred some PPF on the front to insure it was perfect.

mechanically, mine has been perfect. It’s a 2017 V12 with 9k miles. Got it Sep ‘22

Did you ever happen to check to see if your car qualified for the extended Powertrain ? , this on has 3 Scheduled Maintenance left so assuming that might be an option , need to call Ferrari in the AM , So far Dimples and PTU are the Number one complaints.

Mine had a warranty until March of this year and I tried to extend it but they declined me due to aftermarket wheels and exhaust. It was also $8k a year to extend the warranty

I decide to forgo warranty and have since added Novitech springs. We will see what the future holds for me but I don’t drive it more than 4k miles a year and I’m ok self insuring… at least until the PTU goes :(

4K miles for those of us in the US is actually quite a lot. Many of us have families and although it can haul everyone we usually have another vehicle that fits the bill better.
